Feel like we are getting bombarded with amazing looking games that have gloomy looking environments like Pioner. Too many ‘end of the world’ looking environments to play in, gray, drabby, depressing in a way. It’s nice to find an adventure game where there’s still something living, lush and green. Those seem to be getting a bit more rare.

@Worldfunvideos I’d like proof of how in game play is just as good quality as the outlandish qualities of cinematic trailers! It’s a ploy to get your money that’s how they set it up make the cinematic look great to make you think that’s how it will be in game to get you to buy the game and it is far from it! Ive been in the industry a long time and have yet to see the same quality in game play as the cinematic EVER. Maybe if the quality is just as equally as bad then yes but when the quality is great or good then no.

You probably dont be a gamer in 90’s 😉 swithing from zx spectrum to nes then snes and ps-one. Every step is considerably a whole new level of visual and sound. Today progress pace is not even close.
good list, altough it’s weird you haven’t included Project Mara, which is probably (from a technical standpoint) probably the most outstanding game I’m aware of at the moment.

@dev null actually it’s exactly because it reproduces just a small place that it allows the devs to push so much graphically, they are reproducing it with an unprecedented level of detail. I confess I’m not sure if that’s a game for me, but I’m seriously curious to look at it just for the technical aspect.

These games look very good visually, but I don’t care about that as much anymore. Game companies should just focus on making games that are actually playable on release day and enjoyable to play
