  1. The Batman Arkham Saga is the best superhero game series I have ever played. Glad Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are brought back to reprise their respective roles from Batman: TAS as well as other shows connected to the DCAU ( or Timmverse). Hope Rocksteady games can give us more update on the new Suicide Squad game.

    1. Don’t forget about Arlene Sorkin (Arkham Asylum) and Tara Strong (the other three Arkham games) voicing Harley Quinn. Wonder who will voice Harley in upcoming Gotham Knights and the upcoming Suicide Squad game.

    2. @Zachary Volquardts man I started playing them when I was 12 and still like to hope on occasionally I’m 20 and got a kid myself lol Arkham asylum,Arkham city,Arkham knight are fantastic and Arkham origins was alright

    3. i agree with your opinion on the entire batman arkham series being the the best superhero game series of all time. Because of the fact they got everything right in that series and did it all correctly.

  2. Arkham City still is a masterpiece of a video game. Everything about it just screams love for the character. The same goes for Marvel’s Spider-Man, both are prime examples of what happens when developers truly have an undying love for the source of material. You get works of art.

    1. @Kai Phan the game was WAAAY too easy. The boss fights in concept were better but way too breezy to go through. Not even remote challenge in that entire game. Also, usually i for like complaining about the story in video games because the gameplay is central but in this case it’s so bad it really does damage my experience of the overall game. Why did Joker have to be behind everything the whole time? I was so excited that Black Mask was the main villain, but then he actually wasn’t.

    2. i thinkg objectively arkham city is the best of the arjham games, but arkham knight is my favourite one. arkham asylum is amazing too. arkham origins is trash.

    3. @Zuzu I haven’t played arkham origins but the title of the game is Arkham *Origins* it makes sense they were weak it’s their origin they aren’t that strong (or maybe I’m just stupid)

    1. @Mr.Wolfchamp 1999 miles morales actually improved on the combat a lot from the first game imo so I have no doubt spiderman 2 will do the same.

    2. The combat was lacking in the first game. Alot of kicking over and over again with the same two or three kicks.

Multiple counter animations would probably be a step in the right direction. But even still would probably need more improvements.

  3. The Arkham series has changed the superhero game genre in a way that nobody would have ever imagined. It deserves to at least be in the top 5

    1. @Samuel Munoz i actually just started knight on knightmare and it made me remember how much i love that game…god i could talk about if for HOURS

    2. @Kong King And just the Batman action figures changed the superhero toy ganre. Lol! I’m just kidding too. But yeah you’re right. Batman is DC’s valuable asset. 😂

    3. @Raven so true and just like🤣🤣🤣am kidding I ran out of Batman references..But yeah that’s DCs greatest asset for yah.

  4. Arkham City is overall the better game, but Arkham Asylum will always be my favorite because of the atmosphere. It FELT like Resident Evil Batman, and I am all for that. Also, Shattered Dimensions will always be one of my favorite Spider-Man games because it managed to get 4 Spider-Man voice actors from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, MTV’s Spider-Man, 90’s Spider-Man The Animated Series, and Spectacular Spider-Man in one place.

    1. resident evil is probably my favourite video game franchise and batman is my favorite super hero so i see what you are saying about the asylum atmosphere. i kind of felt that way too in the sewer and old city section of arkham city. even still i think arkham knight is my favourite one. everything is just so finely tuned. gameplay wise it seems like the one that will age the best, UI wise too. city did have the best story out of all of them though. origins was very VERU disappointing. that one is like a 5/12, while the others are all between 11.5-12/12 range.

  5. I would have put both Arkham City and Spiderman in the number one spot. Love them both.

I did like the fight mechanics in Spiderman a bit more though. I felt like I had all the control I wanted with Spidey more than I did with Bats. Both games had an incredible story, with lots of good side missions (although the Riddler trophies could get a bit frustrating. Goes to show I’m not as good a riddle solver and detective as Batman himself). The gadgets in Arkham City were easier to get used to though, a bit more than Spiderman (although switching gadgets was easier in Spiderman).

I know there’s more than I listed, but overall both games are number one in my opinion.

  6. Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is such an underrated superhero game from back in the day. I’ll never forget playing it on PS2 and feeling so satisfied when I finally beat Blonsky’s purple, bald, levitating side-chick and Abomination at the end at the dam. And the open world gameplay and running and jumping around and destroying everything was so much fun😄🏙👊🏽🎮

  7. I’m a fighting game player and while mvc2 was a big part of my childhood, I personally enjoyed Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 a bit more as I found it a easier to perform combos and I loved its presentation

  8. Spider-Man and Batman are destined forever to battle it out for who’s 1 or 2. Most popular, best cartoon, best rogues, best superhero movie and best video game.

    1. @kiss Miss ok heath Ledger and phoenix both won Oscar for the joker and the batman animated series won an Oscar for best tv show in the 2000s

    2. @A1SS 105 Momentum shifts do happen. 2015 was when the Arkham games concluded. Insomniac’s Spider-Man sequel is set to be released next year.

    3. @A1SS 105 I don’t think the villains rely on movies to begin with. WatchMojo made a list of the best supervillain teams back in 2016, and the Sinister Six topped it despite not being featured in any film.

  9. The fact that Hulk Ultimate Destruction was never continued. Probably the best Superhero game I’ve ever played. Unlike most superhero games these days this game actually had replay value after story if I’m not mistaken. I think you could go back and replay chapters. Which should be possible in any and every game with a story honestly.

  10. In my opinion
    The top 3 are
    3-the Injustice series
    2- the spiderman man series
1- sure the arkham series(all of it from arkham asylum to arkham knight and am really excited for Gotham knights

  11. Here are some honorable mentions:

    – Spiderman (the 2000 video game)
    – Ultimate Spiderman (the video game)
    – X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse
    – The Death and Return of Superman
    – Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage

  12. I remember the first time I played each Arkham game. I’m in my early twenties now and still replay each and every one of them. Definitely deepened my love for Batman and video games together. Can’t wait to see what Gotham Knights and SS: KTJL do.

  13. I once played ‘The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction’ back in the day, it was so awesome.
