  1. I can never forget the first time when I played Assassin’s Creed Unity…Everything looks so real…Especially it was released in 2014.

    1. Bruh that was my favorite game back in the day. Great, now I wanna reinstall it and play it, thanks🙄😂.

    2. i feel the same but its Doom 3 back in 2005, goddamn the lighting back then, dynamic shadows, the textures, the game was a pc killer, no one ran it on ultra because no pc was ready for it

    3. Yeah, it had baked lighting that is why the time of day never changed, but it allowed the developers to bake in insane levels of lighting details, same reason Mirrors Edge still looks great.

  2. I’m so glad you guys featured “ILL” because I’ve been following it’s main animator for a while now and seeing him grow from small animations to a full fledged game just makes me happy. Hope they really get the project going. Greetings, chuvabak!

    4:39 Horizon Forbidden West
    5:34 Resident Evil 8 Village
    6:53 Odin: Valhalla Rising
    8:24 Ill
    9:32 Atomic Heart
    10:42 Gran Turismo 7

  4. Imagine not including Hellblade 2 in a video like this when it’s clearly the most realistic looking next gen game revealed so far. Even Hellblade 1 was gorgeous!

  5. Something that I think had great graphics (for its time especially) was the MMO Riders of Icarus. Especially considering it ran on CryEngine.

  6. Next Gen Graphics are looking so promising, i just want to see what we are getting for Elder Scrolls 6 or Dark souls 4 or Elden Ring so many great games that can used all this processing power.

  7. God of war was one of most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life. I’m very excited to see what comes next in that universe. How close do we get when making these games before we start to feel like we’re maybe creating something real?

  8. Enslaved: Journey to the West was also a beautiful game in which you played the as the Monkey King, although a rather more appealing version than the one shown here. Good adventures, and every scene is like a painting.

  9. All of these look amazing but if we are talking about 2022 maybe, just maybe Squadron 42 will come out till then and then this would be the best looking game for me right now I think (which is also kind of expected when you keep in mind that this is a AAA-Production that doesn’t has to be “limited” by console-hardware, even if next gen isn’t really limiting anything but Series S could be so…)

  10. This, right here, is why I’m so glad I finally pulled the trigger on getting me a gaming PC. Can’t wait for these games to drop

  11. I’m actually pretty excited about the future with my PS5. As someone who doesn’t have any blind console loyalty I can say that this is the first time in a long time when consoles technical fidelity can measure up with a good PC so it doesn’t feel like you’re getting a noticeably downgraded version on console anymore.

If anything optimization might even get better than on PC in certain cases because if you look back historically or at the Nintendo Switch currently it’s pretty unbelievable at times how much developers can squeeze out of hardware if they try so imagine that on actual good hardware in the new console generation.

Oh boy, let’s hope that this generation brings us some of the best and most impressive games ever.

    1. Not true a good 800 dollar pc can get double fps and better graphics don’t say stuff if you don’t know what your talking about

  12. Gonna go out on a limb to say, graphics is probably one of the most important aspect pre-release as it generates the most hype. And it probably becomes a lot less important after your purchase.
