  1. Forspoken has me intrigued and cautiously optimistic, the traversal looks incredible & the story looks interesting. Can’t wait to see more! For me personally though, Horizon Forbidden West is the the game I’m looking forward to playing the MOST in 2022 ✌️

    1. @ShadowX yes, I agree 💯 percent! Forespoken looks incredible! I really like the spellcasting & traversal the most. It looks extremely smooth for PS5 and it also looks like the type of game that wouldn’t be possible on PS4. I really hope this shows us what dedicated PS5 games can do.

  2. Sons of the Forest is a game I am cautiously optimistic about. There’s been no flashy showcase and they’ve barely turned their heads from the screen between announcements which is giving me good vibes.

    1. Totally agree with you, loved the first one and cant wait for sons of the forest. Anyone who is new to the game or would just like to know more, i can highly recommend youtuber Farket. If there is anything you can do in the forest he has done it and made a video about it.

  3. I’m so excited for Horizon: Forbidden West. I absolutely love the first game, and from what we’ve seen, they have taken that and just improved it in every way

  4. Wow, some great stuff coming out. Going to be a good year for gaming. Great picks, I put over half of them on wish lists. Thanks guys!

  5. Really looking forward to shadow warrior 3, it looks like a fun action FPS and the devs definitely deserve support so we can get more like it

  7. Forbidden West is the one that I’m fixated on. I absolutely love Zero Dawn, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with!

    1. @LSDrip_
True that, unfortunately I had to spoil myself at first to understand the complete story before even finishing it.

    2. @Friendly Creature I agree. It really pulled me in at the beginning, the middle kinda started to lose me, but then the end (especially the last few missions) brought it all together & I was like 😱😱😱. Great game overall tho & I can’t wait for the sequel.

  8. Just a quick heads-up for Vampire: The Masquarade lovers: Swansong comes out on 19th of May. The creators made The Council, which was an amazing episodic adventure-rpg game, quite unique in its genre.

    1. Bet!!!! And truly thank you been searching all around about any and all info on Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines on PC (number 1) had me hooked. Hate what happened to 2

  9. Those look like some great games but I have been burnt by HYPE too many times both on consoles and PCs. I’m also getting the ‘been there done that a million times’ sense of deja vu.

Horizon Forbidden West gets my vote as the #1 on my list because it looks to be fresh while continuing with the sense of adventure, exploration, and multiple ways to deal with the enemy (man or machine) that the first game had. The NPCs might have needed a bit more personalities but the only ones besides Rost, Sylens, Erend, and Teersa were not necessary. Horizon: Zero Dawn was perhaps the most fun and the most replayable game that I ever owned. And perhaps the best story too. It had mystery, suspense, and heart-felt emotion like no other game I’ve played in my 50 years of gaming. The moment that Aloy transformed from a child into a young woman brought tears to my eyes and that has NEVER EVER happened to me in a game before!

And that final battle was as intense and spectacular as any that I’ve ever played! And who can forget the incredible music too? My only gripe is the constant need to hunt and replenish resources, although they were plentiful along most paths taken. But I did like that during a battle I could easily pause, change armor, or fashion something that I needed without having to access a special room, lab, or table to construct it. The save anywhere feature also was a plus. However, I don’t have a PS5 yet so until I can get one without paying an arm, a leg, or having to sell a kidney for it I will just have to wait longer after it is released or comes out on PC.

  10. Elden Ring and Horizon will certainly be amazing. I’m hoping Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and Forspoken turn out well. I believe Thymesia will release first half 2022 as well, that looks pretty good.

    1. @Potato Potato No thank you I have a fucking life. I’ll leave that to you. You git gud.

  11. Can’t wait for Stalker 2 – already upgraded my PC so all ready to go. I just hope they don’t mess it up – I would prefer it to be delayed and perfected rather than released early like so many other games in the past year

  12. Forspoken looks really, really good. Very excited to see a completely new game that isn’t a remake or addition to a series. Hopefully it lives up to the hype!

  13. Forspoken looks very interesting. I hope it’s somewhat long and has a large open map with lots of stuff to do like breath of the wild.

  14. 2022 is absolutely STACKED and Jake and Falcon can count on me being here for every video. Cheers to an incredible year for gaming boys 🤘🔥 !

  15. I’m super excited for both Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring. I’m a big fan of the previous games. Like you said, Dying Light was a gift that kept on giving. Looks like they are trying to focus on the best parts of the original game, which is just great news. The parkour, the melee combat and the open world survival aspect are all seemingly being updated. There’s nothing to say about Elden Ring. I have yet to play a Fromsoft game since Dark Souls that wasn’t an absolute master piece. Sekiro has also shown that they can deliver even outside of the Dark Souls realm. I would be very excited for Horizon Forbidden West as well, but I play on PC and I’m not buying a PS5 just for one or two exclusives. I wonder if it will come to PC sooner if the PS5 shortage will negatively impact sales.

  16. I got into S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with the anomaly mod and loved it so much I went and bought all the games, so I’m seriously pumped for part 2, it looks incredible! Just as excited to finally play DL2, and although I’ve never played any of the Souls games (stop looking at me like that) I really want to try Elden Ring. 2022 is gonna be a good year for PC gaming nerds…
