I like to think that because Sega used Super Sonic to reference Super Saiyan, they gave Goku Super Saiyan Blue as reference to Sonic

I was going to say Tree of Might was the third movie, but you said Dragon Ball. It is the sixth overall movie in the entire run.
Another reference in Sonic Games related to Dragon Ball series are the Chaos Emeralds. 7 Chaos Emeralds, 7 Dragon Balls.

There’s also Rajang from Monster Hunter:
There has been multiple video game characters based on Sun Wukong, the character Goku is based on, but Rajang has PLENTY of things taken straight from Goku specifically: the fact it’s a monkey, it’s fur turns golden and rises up when it gets angry enough, the forms Rajang has look very similar to several Super Saiyan forms including the form from Demon Slayer collab that probably unintentionally looks very similar to Super Saiyan Rosé, cutting off tail is the best way to weaken Rajang, it fires a giant beam from it’s mouth, it actively goes to fight Elder Dragons which are the strongest monsters in the series and the overall ferocity of Rajang is kinda like Goku’s Great Ape form’s ferocity. And at one point Rajang ate Kirin’s horn to become stronger kinda like how Goku eats Senzu Beans to get back on his full strenght and health.
Dragon ball z has been referenced in practically everything imaginable.
