Great video as always! So weird to see some indie games exclusive to switch, as a Game developer I really don’t understand how this works.
They probably manage to get an exclusive deal with nintendo, dunno how. Probably indication.
It is not easy to develop to switch, getting a nintendo DevKit is such a pain.
Yeah, I have no idea how any of that works. There’s so many games on the eshop, it’s easy to miss some of those smaller titles.

3:12 yeah, the fake outs in Luigi’s Mansion is why I quit most of the way through. I’m fine with the trope of Bowser running away to the next castle, but having a button ripped away while screwing it in really creates a feeling of hopelessness. I’m totally fine with just adding more levels, or ghosts re-infesting an area I previously cleared.
Haha yes! It was so annoying! Definitely made me want to quit the game.
An amazing thing about Super Mario Wonder is the character choice! By choosing a Yoshi or Nabbit, you become immune to most damage/knockback. It’s a great accessibility feature, and doesn’t block achievements like the Invincibility Leaf in Super Mario 3D World.

Quad Fighter K’s docking mechanic is basically the same as Aegis Wing on 360 which is another 4 player coop shoot’em up (though its only 3 player local coop for some reason).

Great vid like always! A very fresh one: The Switch version of World of Goo 2 seems to have an exclusive co-op mode (even with up to 4 players from what I’ve read, but that would be pure chaos!).

Nintendo is the only system that won’t let you down when your friends come over. Luigi’s Mansion, Mario 3d world, Mario kart & party, Mario wonder, super smash, Pikmin 3,… All better 2 player experiences than anything competition offers. Only sports games really…
