That’s what I’m thinking it will make triple a studios adapt to making quality or get out paced by indie and loose sales to people who want to make a good game before they worry about $
I love horror games , they scare me & excite me at the same time. I am looking forward to Sons of the Forest , The Forest was super creepy at the beginning before you became stronger and found better weapons. The caves & mutants were scary and from the trailer of Sons of the Forest , the caves look a lot scarier. Honestly it looks like a game that I’ll spend 100’s of hours in.
I am a fan of horror games just like you the only thing is I just ordered an ips monitor they say ips has bad blacks

I’m a big fan of horror games since Resident Evil 2 in ’98. So it’s exciting to see some love to this ‘left in the dark’ genre.
I’m excited for Evil Dead and TX Chainsaw Massacre. Gun Media is working on TCM. I really enjoyed F13, and it’s a shame that it got hit with the lawsuit and promptly died. I hope this game can bring back that kind of experience we all enjoyed.

So glad red barrels is finally giving us another Outlast game. That whole series is a nonstop heart attack experience that deserves to be continued.
Slitherhead and Scorn are the only two upcoming horror games that I am most looking forward to play. Plus the Callisto Chronicles and the upcoming Dead Space Remake too.
I’m really looking forward to the Dead Space remake, it’s the game that got me into horror games
@Adam West though honestly this’ll make more people who wouldn’t normally play it otherwise, experience dead space for the first time

@Adam West Dead space is a solid game but I’d like to see what it looks like with the latest graphics. All the gore will look awesome.
Dead Space still stands up today. It really doesn’t need a remake…
@Videre Vero you guys may be right it’s just I understand the RE2 remake and the FF7 remake because those tank controls and super early polygon models are a massive turn off to new players but dead space still holds up really well. Kinda feel like they could have just either done something new with the IP or just pick a different title that was awesome but perhaps hasn’t aged as well as dead space has.
I’d love to see you guys do a similar list with casual games. Things like The Lake or Gone Home. There’s some really cool ones coming out this year.

I’m looking forward to Scorn, and the Callisto Project has me interested, but what I’m most hyped about is Tangiers. The sheer surrealism about its world has ensnared me ever since I saw it on this channel years ago, and the recent gameplay reveals – no matter how slight – have just had me even more anxious for its release. Yet while I would like it released this year, I’m not really sure when it’s coming; it was supposed to be out in 2015, but that didn’t happen, then it was probably 2017 but that didn’t happen either and ever since the devs have been largely silent only coming up to surprise the odd Steam forum or give a quick interview to assure us it’s still coming. I would assume they’ve taken the cash and bolted already, but the recent mechanic showcases provide enough cause to continue believing beyond a reasonable doubt.
You guys always find a game I’ve never heard of, always great to find new games

Never got to the second one but the first was just consistent dread!
