  1. I’m only really interested in Shadow of the Erdtree, June is kinda weak as far as game releases go, but we got a lot of bangers in previous months

    1. Yeah the list is very weak, but I have been waiting for Shadow of the Erdtree for years and I will play it day 1

    2. IMO this whole year has been an absolute garbage dump. Gta6 and wolverine are the only games I’m looking forward to. Bring on 2025

    3. @@jamandcracks8875 nah, I really enjoyed Prince of Persia Lost Crown, Stellar Blade and Dragon‘s Dogma 2 and there are some very good Indies or great games from last year, that I haven‘t been able to play yet

    4. @@jamandcracks8875 There were a couple of good games for me. I’m still looking forward to Silent Hill 2 remake, DBZ: Sparking Zero, NCAA 25, and Black Myth: Wukong. All are supposedly dropping this year.

  2. Falcon: ” it’s a Scottish cast so expect lots of cursing”
Me who listens to Alestorm 24/7: ” well this is a definite buy for me”

    1. Hey! Hey! I want more wenches.
Hey! Hey! More wenches and mead.
Hey hey! I want more wenches, lots of wenches is what I need

  3. There is literally only one horror game, taking place on oil rig, that comes to mind- Cold Fear. Damd good game it was.

    1. mines in trouble because i think frostpunk 2 is being released in july at somepoint lol

  4. “And #4 is…” *Ad for Ghost of Tsushima begins to play* Well played youtube, well played.

  5. Making the “mini sequel” to Elden Ring as a big, and relatively expensive, DLC is a pretty good idea. The devs can reuse the same engine as is, while concentrating on just making new content.

Also, who’s ready for 18 inches of Messmer?

    1. Doesn’t work for anything other than Venom and that’s been over played at this point.

And idk about a mini sequel when it’s the same size as Limgrave, it’s definitely more of an expansion than a DLC add-on but definitely not a sequel

    2. “The devs can reuse the same engine as is, while concentrating on making new content”

They’ve been making the same game and reusing assets since Demon’s Souls, this has always been their way. I’m just hoping that they learned from ER and Shadow of the Erdtree’s overworld isn’t as boring, empty and copypasted as the base game.

    1. Because it is. Relatively the size of whole limgrave and nearly 10-20 hours of gameplay, atleast.

    2. @@mohamedaanishReminder that Miyazaki said base Elden Ring was 30 hours, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s WAY longer.

    3. Any DLC that costs more than $20 is a rip off, $50 is basically the price for a full game on Steam

    4. @@zomorion9183 i’m hoping it is. Ive nearly 400 hours on elden ring, so the more readily content’s availble, the better haha

  6. there’s something about a little bird playing a game about ants that cracks me up

    1. @@Hamter_mental_counseling Would you be able to recommend me an edgy game reviewer? Maybe like a Sam Hyde but for video games? I need adult reviewers, because I’m not a child anymore. I’m in my 30s and playing video games, not Barbie dolls jfc

    2. @@lsdxm I wish but no sadly. They all have the same voice / tone. I wish there was a thing like redlettermedia but for video game. Prerec was good but it lasted just a few years

  7. I bought a switch to play SMT V, but it broke long before it was ever released. So I’m glad it’s being released for PC.

    1. I’m just glad I never finished the original. The performance on switch ended up killing my drive, which is hard to do when you’re hyper fixated.

  8. Blud’s art style reminds me of Cartoon Network shows like Power Puff Girls or Dexter’s Lab, etc.

    1. Dude, I wish the popularity of Dexter’s Laboratory was present these days so we could get a game based off it.

  9. Still Wakes The Deep, Is based on a Scottish TV show called The Rig I believe.

Filmed in Scotland, Set on an Oil rig with monsters etc

  10. Off topic, but I found out about this game called Infinite Space, it’s an older game on the DS where you lead a growing fleet of spaceships across different galaxies. It’s a JRPG with lots of dramatic dialogue, characters to meet, branching story choices, turn based spaceship combat, and even a ship building mechanic that kind of reminds me of Starfield a bit. It was actually made by Platinum games before they made Bayonetta or Vanquish. It’s not a new game or anything, it came out in 2009 on the original DS, just wanted to share 🙂

  11. I appreciate the fascination in oil rigs. I had never thought about it, but I too would like to see oil rigs used as a setting more

  12. Oil rigs function well because they’re essentially islands and islands function well because you don’t have to explain why your open world is not so open. No invisible walls, no logs across your path.

    1. The only other game I can think of that’s set in an oil rig is metal gear solid 2

    2. All true, but huge counterpoint: Very, extremely limited environment design possibilities. It’s all metallic modern industrial subject matter all the time, aside from sometimes seeing the mostly featureless ocean stretching out forever.

    3. Cold Fear was set on an oil rig the last ⅔s of the game (it was better on the foundering whaling ship).

    1. @@Pensioner1203 not trying to be rude. But. What game ever has a dlc that you don’t need the main game to play it??

    2. Respectfully disagree. I’m excited for Shadow of the Erdtree. But also Final Shape for Destiny 2 drops June 4. My wallet is already hurting after both

  13. I love it when Falcon does something so goofy he feels obligated to apologize for it 😂
