Elden Ring has been my most anticipated game since it was announced. Nothing else has come close.
It and sunbreak are my top anticipated for 2022. Souls and monster Hunter 2 best franchises hands down.
This year’s lineup feels surreal. Crossing my fingers non of them get delayed to 2023.

I’m excited for Evil West (2022)!
It’s a third person slasher/action game, similar to a God of War 2018 playstyle. Lots of gadgets and supernatural foes!
I completely forgot about this game. Just looked up the gameplay trailer and it looks amazing. Hopefully no delays happen.

Breath of the wild 2 is definitely my most anticipated but as for a game with a confirmed release date, Elden ring for sure
I don’t know how they’ll conclude God Of War Ragnarok, I too thought it was going to be a trilogy that focused on these main villains with each entry…
Baldur > Thor > Odin and maybe Atreus (Loki) going rogue. There’s a lot to conclude with just a 2nd game but I can’t wait 😃

There will be more games on the other pantheons, there are rumors Angrboda has connections to the Egyptian mythology. After that hopefully he moves onto Japanese mythology or Japanese mythology
Thats why i personally Hope for a 23 or 24 realease date if they Are going to complete it in just 2 games, it would need to be a long game in order for fans not to be disappointed in a conclusion this quick, or maybe thats just me i just worry it wont live up to expectations if its only as long as gow 2018 and its the conclusion to the nurse mythology.

The three games that has me hype for next year is Kirby and the Forgotten Land, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge, and Midnight Fight Express.
I hope for Homeworld 3, Dying Light 2, Baldur’s Gate III, God of War Ragnarök, and Elden Ring.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is definitely number one for me ever sense Pokémon Black & White 2 the series has been trying new things big & small and I enjoyed the Wild Area of Sword & Shield so I hope they continue to improve upon it and eventually feel confident enough to make a full on open world Pokémon game.
Splatoon 3 is my number 2 I love the first two Splatoon games although I prefer the way multiplayer stages were in the first game over the 2nd one I can’t really put my finger on why though. Anyway Splatoon has quickly become one of my favorite video game series with it’s charming setting, music and ganeplay.
Lego Star Wars The Sky Walker Saga is another on my list of anticipated games but I’m not sure about what number I’d place it at yet. I don’t like Star Wars at all and I’ve never been a huge fan of the Lego toys but I used to love not only the Lego Star Wars video games as a kid but also Indiana Jones and Batman their somewhat underrated when it comes to licensed games if I do buy this game I can’t wait to relive parts of my childhood while playing through the new content this game will have.
Sonic Frontiers is another game I’m excited for but unsure of I like Sonic but the recent games have been hit or miss but if this looks good to me and is well received I’ll pick it up.
WB Multiversus is another game I’m iffy on but only because it’s free to play and I don’t know how monetized it’ll be hopefully the characters and most stages won’t and it’ll only be cosmetic stuff and small things locked behind a paywall. Other than that it’s another game I’m keeping my eye on.
Sonic Frontiers should’ve at least got an honorable mention. There may be a high chance it will be a bad game but it’s the first open world Sonic game so its a big change for the series.

@Stardust Sonic this might not be true, but I believe Frontiers could be the fastest open world game we’re ever gotten. Sonic can run at hyper speeds that none of the other open world protagonists can even attempt to match, so it should be interesting.
