Ever since The Day Before… I can’t trust anything
Cyberpunk: Hold my beer
@@NotLaSimiaI find the cyberpunk thing hilarious. I remember CDPR fanboys joking on Bethesda for F4 and F76. Only for a CDPR game to be even more buggy while being a single player game 😂
The Day Before was no surprise.
5 years and still waiting on state of decay 3 😮😮
Some of them feel so cool, then I hear PvPvE… and they just lose me.
Dunno, but I feel this atmospheric post-apoc games are better done as SP games.
I agree… the game looks and sounds great, then I hear PvPvE or Massive Multiplayer and I lose interest.
I see where you are coming from, but not being able to trust actual players, makes it feel more apocalyptic to me.
@@imthedevilkys536yeah if they play along and try to act out the apocalypse. But if they just wait in a corner and shoot you from the back, it’s just annoying and takes away from the experience. I wanna be able to experience the apocalypse without being sweaty af

@@jordanpulciani1526 sitting in a corner and waiting for the other person to make a move is literally what 90% of people would do in an apocalypse.
Bring back the Uncharted Series, Batman, Splinter Cell, etc. Games we loved
I’d rather they just do new stuff instead of constantly retreading old ground
@@justinpurdy3117new stuff comes out all the time but it dont work like the old stuff
Yeah! I would love to see remakes of the older Arkham games with Arkham Knight graphics. A Splinter Cell reboot is long overdue too!
Instead they putting the effort to make good Superman game, they made that mess, visual diarrhea of Suicide squad 🤦♂🤦♂
Well they would, but Sam Fisher would have to be replaced with transgeycolor person…Batman also has to be translesbian…superman has to be black woman…And defienietly need transbathrooms with tampoon dispensers in every single game…plus we need lots and lots of politics just to make sure people are thinking the correct thought and form correct opinions.
As soon as I saw the walking fortress in the desert I immediately went huh someone likes wild wild west, you’re not the only one who remembers that gem of a film Jake.
“PvPvE” “Massively Multiplayer” “Online”
Ugh. Gaming in the 20s… it’s all painful…
Yeah… tell me about it. ¬¬
I just want a good action game not trying to be a souls like.
Grow up
@@brucenateleedon’t have to worry about a fleshed narrative in souls like games
@@noth7ing That’s what OP did IMO. Kids only play online games. Online-only games are for people with a short attention span, i.e. kids.
The moment I hear anything that inclines it’s online-only or have a multiplayer component I immediately skip. I don’t want kids in my games and I don’t want to rely on other people to have fun. I enjoy my own company in games. If I want to be social I’ll just talk to my SO or kids or chat with a friend. Are people so lonely everything must be about playing together with others? Don’t you people have too many people around you so you just want to run away and be alone sometimes? Anyway, IMO, if you can’t enjoy single player games then games are boring to you because it’s not the games you enjoy, it’s the social aspect.
I’d much rather have a single player game where I can play forever than to have a pvpve/mmo/online game
@@bhasha3255 I pretty desperately want more single player looter shooters like borderlands and even outriders. Too many games depend on having multiple players.
I’ll be playing Sekiro and Elden Ring into 2040 and beyond! Bloodborne I loved lies of p but I’ve mastered it and platinum it also. Baldurs gate 3 is interesting I have 100 hrs into it and like it enough, but it’s not anything close to as special as Elden Ring! High hopes for Wukong
Then you’ll definitely want to check out STALKER 2! The first one came out in the early 2000’s. Even back then it had faction-aligning, a day/night cycle, procedurally generated side missions, and 7 endings; 5 bad endings, 2 good, one of which becomes cannon.
In STALKER there is no leveling up nor any skill tree advancement. You are your equipment.
Edit:typo.
@VectorxMan
Well you’ve sold me. 😅 Stalker sounds cool. I shall hunt it down and buy it.
@DaGreatGamblino It’s a treat if you like RPG and FPS! Imagine if Metal Gear Solid had a baby with Silent Hill who was then raised by Battlefield. Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Skies are the two really good ones. IIRC, Call of Pripyat only took like 6hrs to beat even with all the scripted side missions, not the randomgen ones.
14:09 “Abandonded Volcano”. Is… is it common for volcanoes to be inhabited???
Well there is this one place called Hawaii…
And a little lesser known place called Japan.
Maybe you’ve heard of them?
@someOldBaldguy Oh, people build their homes inside of volcanoes there? Most interesting.
@@rosskwolfe yep. I suggest you give it a go…
The caldera arou d a volcanic eruption has some magnificently fertile soil but as a human who lived in both hawaii and japan and a while in the Philippinesi can assure you people dont live jn volcanoes nor do they abandon them. If you live near an active volcano you feel it so many times when it does erupt you are caught trying to finish taking a pee or somethjng then you are a memory and statistic…. animals will abandon them thiugh. They leave early
Of course, where else would a James Bond villain build their secret base? A normal mountain? Boring.
Every time I see these clips from Exekiller, i can’t help but notice that the gas station and motel are almost 1.1 copies of the gas station and motel in the outskirts from Cyberpunk 2077. Am I crazy?
Yes! I thought the exact same thing!
clearly inspired by it.
Imagine all the microtransactions these games will have 😂
Yes and most of them will die in a couple of years.
10$ for fkin blue 😀 xD
I’ve been watching this Chanel for 6 years even though i never owned a game console or pc i just love hearing stories about games 😅❤
We all do have our guilty pleasures, don’t we?
Hey! Thanks we appreciate you 🙂
@@gameranxTV you actually replied 😭😁
All I want is a game with a solid single player campaign. Is it too much to ask? … I don’t want no PVPVE, Multiplayer, “Extraction , looter shooter” bullcrap.
You and me both
i wish there should be game like order 1886 with some tweaks and story is like supernatural series , co-op campaign story.
There’s like a million singleplayer-only games out there, a lot of which are good
I think Metro exodus was the last solid single player fps with a good campaign.
There are literally thousands of old and new games that fit that exact description, and there’s no way you’ve played them all. I swear gamers entitlement is part of why publishers have become so bold about their bullshit, because consumers barely know what they want and even if they do, they STILL spend money on what they apparently don’t want. Stop buying into fomo and just play old games.
Unfortunately, there are not a lot of single-player games
There are a ton of single-player games out there. The videogame genre started with single-player games, lol. You just have to look a little. Depending on your playstyle, Steam has literally thousands to choose from. A bunch of good stuff came out last year (do I even need to mention Baldur’s Gate 3, Hogwart’s Legacy, and Elden Ring?). Before the corps ruined everything, there were a bunch of greats out there. FPS’s, Horror, City/World Builder, 4X, Open World/Explore, Strategy; you name it, they’re out there.
@@williamyoung9401 Calm down brother, they were talking about in this video
Yup, just talking about the video))
Almost half the game on the video are single player, wdym?
Miss the days I didn’t need to be online to enjoy a singleplayer style game
Cant lie. I hear “looter shooter, PvPvE, multiplayer, hero shooter, tactical shooter, etc” and tune out

Same
Same but Mostly with extraction shooter.
I just hear “Live Service MTX Farm” for all that now.
@@blueprint7 coming from the bot.
I can’t stress this enough:
How hard my eyes fucking roll anytime I hear a sniff of “open world” “online” “with PvP elements”
I like PvP
I like shooters
I like open world
Unless I was watching footage of the gameplay or previews I couldn’t tell you which was which.
Only 3 games sounded different from each other.

Remember when they made story based, single player post apocalyptic games?
Pepperidge Farm remembers
Walkinz Remembers
Go
Outside
So half the games on the list?
@@112leo half of the games on the list is a stretch
What is wrong with singleplayer games? They´ve worked for decades but I guess mulitplayer games are easier to milk for sweet sweet money. It´s a shame
Most games are designed for spastic kids on a sugar rush.
they’ll give you every type of post apocalyptic game except the one you ask for.
Give us the elevator pitch. What is the type of post apocalyptic game you’re after? 🙂
@@gameranxTV i want a simple single player open world zombie survival. no forced online co-op. available for consoles. vast real open world. build bases, hunt, craft, fortify malls, gas stations etc, maintain vehicles, hunt, recruit, nemesis system, weather system and proper zombie combat, no blobbed out flesh puddles, no drop kicking zombies. i basically want to be Shane in TWD without the plot. let me look like shane, give me a gun, drop me in a world that looks as good as that and let me create.
Thanks for mentioning ExeKiller! It means a lot! 🤠
